Question 1: What would you really do in this situation and why? If you state that you would tell the truth, why do you think you hold tightly to the value of truth-telling? Question 2: For your second paragraph, I want you to have some fun in creating a hypothetical situation of your own making: Make a scenario, like the Axeman example, where a decision has to be made involving a moral decision. Then, write about how a deontologist would view and act in the situation. Do the same for a utilitarian. How does one's ethical standpoint affect the real-life outcomes of decisions?
