What motivates you at work? I am motivated at work when I am working in an environment that is positive, challenging, celebrates people, and am a part of a team that is working towards a common goal. I have found you don't always have this environment, so I need to have my own way of staying motivated. I have an inner drive that keeps me focused on the pursuit of excellence, that I fall short of, but am constantly challenging myself to adjust and pivot so that the next day is better than before. Work environments are not perfect, so I must decide and choose how I want to show up every day. I have to ask myself, am I going to be a part of the problem or am going to be apart of the solution. I choose solution and create the environment that I want to be a part of. 1. Do you think training and development is an important motivator for you? Yes, training and development is a great motivator because it lets me know that my company is willing to invest in me and my future.
