Gabe, a three-year old, attended a parent cooperative preschool in his hometown. Each Morning began with the children breaking up to form smaller circle groups with their lead educators. Gabe often has difficulty paying attention during circle time. He would turn away from his group, looking around to see what the other groups were doing. His lead teacher, Carrie, noticed this and along with the other educators, discussed whether circle time was related to his inability to focus. After determining that Gabe enjoyed circle time, the educators decided to address some of Gabe's distractibility by using a half-wall divider.
