Examples of Deductive Reasoning

Provide three examples of deductive arguments (of increasing complexity). These can be your own arguments or arguments from a source (or a combination). Present them in standard form, with the premises listed above the conclusion.

For each argument, indicate whether the argument is valid as stated. If it is not valid, indicate how it could be made valid, either by adding a premise or modifying the wording of one of the stated premises (or both).
Would the new argument be sound (in your view)? Why or why not?
Finally, do you think that someone with a different point of view would find your argument to be sound? Why or why not? Could it be improved to make it more persuasive to people with a different point of view?
