Advancements in cognition during middle and late childhood enable more advanced moral reasoning. Lawrence Kohlberg developed the most well-known perspective on moral development, involving people advancing through up to 3 levels, containing a total of 6 stages. The video below is an excellent summary of these stages. Once you've watched it, try to think of an answer to the Heinz dilemma for each of the 6 stages.
