Assignment:
You just moved to canada, right? You are currently attending classes at the Seneca college. You have a lot of experience being an entrepreneur in your own country, and you have a lot of energy. You were successful in persuading the administration of Seneca college campus that the institution's existing cafeteria is unable to meet the demand placed on it by the institution's present students, particularly for breakfast and lunch. Most of the present students do not have a favourable opinion of the available menu choices, and the price is rather high in comparison to other options.
The authority was willing to give you a chance since they somewhat agreed with what you said. You are going to start your own restaurant, and you have been offered a location very near to the one that is already operating. You have enough expertise in the kitchen, and as a result, making meals and other foods does not present a challenge for you. You also have pals on campus who are available to assist you in any way and may be hired for this purpose. The problem, however, is in the selection of "Suppliers" who are able to consistently offer you with the essential ingredients and raw materials that you need in order to produce and sell the food items that students want to purchase.
There are some following topic shoulf be involved:
Is the product new? Do you need to purchase new equipment? Are you searching for a new supplier because you are dissatisfied with your current one? Using the information from the chapter "Supplier Selection and Evaluation," explain your response.
How will you get the details about new suppliers that you need to operate your restaurant? Justify your response considering the several sources that are crucial for obtaining new supplier information. Explain why you won't be using a certain source, even if it's vital to learn about new suppliers. List all your sources, then indicate which ones you plan to utilize and which ones you won't.
Choose few suppliers and provide information about them (what they will sell to you).
Implement or present the remaining concepts you have learnt from this chapter (Supplier Selection and Evaluation).
