Part 1: Change and sustain talk are frequently discussed in this module's readings. How is learning to recognize these impacting your life outside of class? Part 2: One of the topics discussed in the textbook was the use of metaphors with clients. The authors explain that metaphors, similes, and/or analogies can help bring concepts to life in a way that resonates with clients more than words alone can. For this discussion, come up with at least 3 situations in which you could effectively use a metaphor, simile, or analogy with a client and share one that is appropriate for each situation. Then, the authors also say that "while 'why' questions are open-ended, they come with caution tape. The practitioner can easily come off as condescending or judgmental." Explain what this means and provide at least two examples where you have seen this occur.
