Having difficulties with this homework assignment again. Several years ago, historian David Stannard's American Holocaust: The Conquest of the New World shed light on the complexities and problems associated with the arrival of the Europeans. Look at one of the best-known contemporary accounts by Bartolome de las Casas. Do you have a problem considering these atrocities as a holocaust? Yes, I do have a problem considering these atrocities as a holocaust, but I can't explain with the sources below. I still stuck.
