I have seen stress affect people in the workplace in many ways. I also had a personal friend who had to be hospatilized because she had anxiety and became overwhelmed at work from them being short staffed and her carrying a greater load outside of work as well caused her to have an anxiety attack.
Stress can help in small doses. It can help one to reach goals and get over challenges. It can help with certain task by boosting memory. When one is stressed they go into a fight or flight response and when the brain recieves it, it will flood the body with chemicals.
Creative and critical ways to help cope with stress would to be to plan and organize, make daily checklist. Also reframing and looking at stress a different way and not negatively. Relaxation and revision can help as well. Create change and think of where you would like to be future wise.
