ASSIGNMENT:

1- Do you think that the generation we live in now, mental illness is being used as a pass in society? If so, what is appopriate and unapporiate when it comes to letting things slide?

2- Do you believe there is a stigma around mental illness? Do you think it is what prevents people reaching out for the help or accomodations they need? My group came to the consensus that if you broke a bone or had a physical health issue you would not have a problem going to the hospital to fix it right? You wouldn't have a problem asking the professor for accomodations because you can't write or walk, correct? We assumed the statistics for the same questions switched to physical health would be mostly "agree" or "strongly agree". What makes mental health issues different?
