(In your answer, refer to the texts to show similarities, common struggles, or important differences that might speak to the culture of poverty (or lack-there-of) and its impact on the education of students living in poverty.)
Part II: Having watched the Hobart's Shakespearean documentary, what do you make of Rafe Esquith's approach to teaching his students, most of whom live in poverty? What are the strengths and weaknesses of his approach?
Part III : Cultural Responsive Teaching is a popular approach to teaching students of different ethnicities. Do you think that such an approach is appropriate for teaching students who live in poverty? Why or why not? Explain what this would entail.
