Identify and critique strategies that you are aware of in your community that attempt to "level" the playing field and create equality of opportunities. In our community we spread acceptance, equality and diversity. A lot of the shops in town display flags in support of LGBTQ to let members of that community know our town and those shops are a safe space,

Do you believe that inequality will always be a social problem? I believe there are levels of inequality because we are all different, and some people have a hard time understanding or fear things that are different. It is also kind of hard to hope for equality when our own government fight with each other and are not the greatest examples of how our community should treat one another.

Do we still need programs such as Affirmative Action? I feel like these programs have loopholes and companies will find other excuses to no hire people even if it is based on discrimination. I personally wouldn't want to work for a company that is like that anyway. I do think it is good to have programs in place as a way of reporting inequality, but I don't know if it will fix the problem.
