Problem

Ensler talks about a "Girl Cell" as a metaphysical metaphor (she knows, and we know scientifically there is no such thing, don't get hung up on that) about the systematic elimination of tenderness, compassion, and empathy (among other things) in Males. Why do you think this is? Do you agree or disagree with her analogies? (don't grandstand- provide facts or experience). You are allowed to (but not at all all required) to share personal experiences or events that you feel relate.

Resist the temptation to say "That's not true", "I am better than that", "Not all men are like that..." that isn't what this is about. Ensler is not trying to tell us it's an "Us vs. Them" mentality, she is trying to point out her observations and conclusions about Masculinity and Patriarchy through her own experiences.
