One useful resource is the Senate's own public records, including the list of votes for the 44th Parliament which began in 2021 and is still running today.

Question 2: Research a situation where federal or provincial parliament has been prorogued, other than to call an election. Explain whether you think prorogation was justified or not and why. Some examples of prorogations include 1873 by Prime Minister MacDonald, 2002 by Prime Minister Chretien, 2008, 2010, and 2013 by Prime Minister Harper, 2012 by Premier McGuinty, and 2020 by Prime Minister Trudeau, or Premier Doug Ford in 2021 and unofficially (by prolonging the summer break) in officially in 2019.
