In a agarose gel electrophoresis experiment, you are given two DNA samples of unknown size and concentration. You load each DNA sample three times (into three different wells) and load the ladder twice, using a total of 8 wells.

Why might it be useful to load the same volume for each of sample replicate? Why might it be useful to load three different volumes for each sample replicate? Will you load three different volumes of each DNA sample (e.g 1, 2, or 3 ul) or will you run the sample volume for each triplicate?
