Is this statemnt true or false?

Incomes. The distribution of annual incomes of U.S. adults is a normal distribution.

This was my answer.

No, this does not make sense to me. I feel like the annual incomes of U.S. adults is not normal as it differs from state to state. Some states have a high cost of living so the rate of pay is more.
