Milonos and Eilatan were very good friends at Irie High School in Palo Seco, Trinidad. They both shared a deep love for the environment and it was hardly surprising that in 2010 after a chance meeting, the both decided to discuss a project to print and distribute an environmental activity book for pre-schoolers. Eilatan, being an excellent artist, agreed to provide all the illustrations and Milonos would supply the written descriptions. Eilatan indicated that she had a good friend who owned a printery and she would discuss a price for printing the activity book. Eilatan called Milonos in January 2011 and indicated that the printer would complete the printing at a cost of $10.00 per book and she proposed to print 10,000 copies. The sum due to the printer was therefore $100,000.00. Milonos agreed and approached the Ministry of Education who indicated that they would accept all the books and repay Milonos and Eilatan the full cost of $100,000.00. The books were printed and after delivery to Milonos and Eilatan, a cheque was handed over to them by the Ministry of Education for $100,000.00 in the name of Eilatan. In May 2011, the printer contacted Milonos and indicated that he only received $40,000.00 from Eilatan and the balance of $20,000.00 was still owed. At this point, Milonos was shocked to find out that the actual price of the booklet was $6.00 for one and not $10.00 as stated by Eilatan. Both the printer and Milonos have tried to contact Eilatan without luck. The printer has decided to sue Milonos for the owed balance of $20,000.00.

Please advise the printer on how he can proceed.
