Identify the mechanisms by which B and T cells distinguish self from non-self:

a. Lymphocytes with receptors that are specific for molecules that are present in the body are destroyed.

b. All cells of the body have MHC glycoproteins that B and T cells recognise in order to distinguish self from non-self.

c. Cells that recognise self are never produced.
