A dissecting microscope is designed with a larger than normal distance between the object and the objective lens. The microscope has an objective lens of +4.0-cm focal length and an eyepiece of +2.0-cm focal length. The lenses are separated by 15 cm. The final virtual image is located 100 cmto the left of the eyepiece.
