This is your last research course for the DHA program. You have been working with the organization in which you will collaborate in completing your Action Research project. You also continued working in groups on feedback to your assignments. Developing skills as a competent researcher requires scholars to be able to self-reflect and to both provide and receive constructive feedback on research performance.
For this final assignment, complete the following:
Discuss the experience of giving feedback to one other colleague on his or her dissertation proposal video presentation. Describe your comfort level offering this feedback. What competencies did you rely on to give constructive feedback? How well was the feedback received?
Self-evaluate your own progress developing competency as a researcher. Be sure to incorporate any feedback you have received along the way from your instructor, colleagues, and any other professional peers.
Identify action steps you need to complete to further develop your long-term research competencies.
