chapter 1: What you have written is really sound however ideally an introductory chapter should include the following:- Problem definition along with background theory & history to the support the research questions Research question & aims Justification for the research Outline methodology Outline of the rest of the chapters Chapter summary chapter: A literature review typically places particular attention on those accounts that are the most significant and/or relevant to your chosen topic. It is important that the review demonstrates how your research questions were derived and informed. Research questions, if the process has been followed, should fall out of the literature review that you have conducted. The research questions should also have a transparent relationship to what is tested for in the primary data collecting activity. The research questions should be capable of being seen in the research instruments you will be using in your methodology.
