The Website I chose is AAMA (American Association Of Medical Assistants) In order to have a credible website, there is information that the website should provide. Health-related articles should provide credentials of those who have reviewed the article. Sites that ask you for any information must explain why they need the information and what it will be used for. Credible Websites should have the author and the date this was published. The site should have a section explaining the purpose of the information given. Sites should have ways for the reader to contact them. If the website has information that is written by someone other then the author of this page then their information needs to credit the original writer. These are just a small section of what makes a site credible to take in the information provided. AAMA has almost every aspect of the information in order to make it a credible site. The date is listening at the bottom along with the mission and purpose of there website. The site includes different links that are easy to understand. Each link has valuable information about the job that can benefit the reader. Such as the Definition of a Medical Assistant. Compensation and benefits that come along with the job. This site gives a better understanding of what it takes to be a medical assistant along with the certifications I need, the site explains what the credentials are in order to become a medical assistant. This information is valuable for someone who may be searching for a career late down the road. The only aspect this site is missing credits to who wrote the article. Other then that the site is a very credible site, the reader can rely upon the information that is being provided. Following the (NIH) checklist I would say this website provides accurate and reliable information for the reader.
