Description:
Critical analysis of a curriculum, pedagogical or assessment change in an educational context with which you are familiar. Your analysis will consider the genesis of the change, its implementation and the impact on curriculum, pedagogical and assessment enactments in that context.
The task has 2 parts.
In Part A, you will orally outline the scope of your essay response by leading a discussion with your peers. The discussion will:
o describe the educational setting
o describe your role in that setting
o introduce the issues impacting on the change, including relevant literature
o respond to feedback from your peers as you refine your argument in the written component. Length: 2000 words

In Part B, you will prepare a refined essay response that provides a critical analysis of the curriculum, pedagogical or assessment change in the educational context of your choice. The essay will
o describe the educational setting
o describe your role in that setting
o introduce the issues impacting on the change, including relevant literature
o critically analyse the change and its relation/impact on all stakeholders
