Provide and add examples that sustain the discussion of how to inspire self-confidence, develop people, and increase productivity on this essay:
It's no secret that trust is the most coveted and indispensable commodity in the workplace. When trust is present, people are more willing to give their best and work more efficiently in collaboration with others. They commit to a common goal, take risks, think imaginatively, support each other, and speak freely and honestly with each other. In order for team members to engage in human interaction and make supportive and meaningful connections that produce results, they must have trust in themselves and in each other: Trust in themselves and trust in each other.
If you want to encourage your team members to adopt certain habits, you must first model them yourself as a leader. You cannot ask someone to do something you would not be willing to do yourself. Transparency helps develop trust. True leaders are open and truthful. They also have conversations all the time. Because of a lack of knowledge, assumptions are made that are often unfavourable or detrimental to team motivation and productivity. People often sense when you are trying to hide something from them. If there is something you cannot share with the team, tell them what you can and do not tell them anything you do not want them to know.
Build a team that is a good fit for you and your colleagues in terms of knowledge, skills, and capacity. Do not try to juggle too many tasks. You cannot build a skyscraper alone just because you have the expertise; you need to trust your team's ability to complete the project. Allow members of your team to take the lead on specific initiatives and successes. Not only will you come out looking good, but your team members' productivity will improve because of your efforts and the goal will be achieved.
