Discussion Forum: Managing stress levels

Stress affects our performance at work and our ability to relate to others. In chapter four, we examined major personal and work-related causes of stress and some stress management strategies.

Submit a post describing what you learned in chapter four:

- Discuss one key takeaway.

- Also, do share at least one stress management strategy that a company you work for or a company you have read about has put in place to help their employees (see slide 17 in the slide deck - I have provided two links on the notes page - (I) a Wall Street Journal article on companies slip workouts into work and (ii) an Article from Fortune magazine on what SalesForce does. ) Find more recent examples of what companies are doing. If you cannot find an example of an actual company, get creative, and design your own strategy that you would suggest a company does to help their workers manage their stress. Provide the source/reference where relevant.

Then review the postings made by your classmates. Contribute additional, new information to the discussion under the appropriate posting. Do not critique or engage in competitive dialogue (no debating). Please remember if you do not review and comment on your classmates' posting you will not get full points for your discussion.
