Ethics and Integrity at Work

Integrity at the work place signifies the stability and strength. Integrity tends to come in many different forums while dependability and honesty are traits that are expected by many at the work place.

An individual without a responsible behavior may end up making him or her being distrusted which may make their working environment uncomfortable and tense.

A strong ethics at the work place shows the clients and the co-worker that you take your responsibilities seriously and also shows that you are also very reliable (Sullivan, 2005). An individual can demonstrate his or her integrity by just abiding by the company policies. Neglecting the workplace regulations may lead an employee to problems, mistakes and even to dangerous conditions.

Internet surfing on personal staff during working hours shows that the individual is not serious at his work and can be considered a thief since he is spending working hours wrongly.

Personally I would consider the action as steeling since the working hours are not well spent while surfing on personal issues can be done later after work or during break time especially after work. A very good example of activities that would also be considered as stealing is making frequent personal calls instead of concentrating on work.

The employees from all parts of the world are always advised to honor the working hours since by saving the personal activities to conduct them during break time shows the customers, boss and the co-workers that you are always work hard and you honor your working hours (Sullivan, 2005).

By doing this would help the employee on improving and also increasing his production area which will showcase the strong working habits possessed by an individual.
