Question

Develop a case study of an early childhood learning and teaching environment, discussing the implementation of theory into practice by reviewing theoretical perspectives about children and their learning. While a forthcoming or previous practicum site could be drawn on, the case study is most likely to be fictitious, but should be plausible. To support this case study, you may consider using artefacts such as diagrams, floor and playground plans, de­ scriptions, interviews, observations of children, curriculum documents and frameworks; and the ways educators collaborate to support children's social-emotional learning including prosocial skills, or the images you have used in assignment 2B which can been included in your appendix. You must include aspects of theory and legislation and how these have influenced the case study. Reflecting upon the artefacts you have chosen; you will discuss and analyse how teachers connect theory and inform their practice enabling positive and inclusive environments for learning and development.
