Question: This week, we read several sources that discussed the future of compensation. According to some, the line between one's work and one's personal life is getting thinner and thinner because we are always connected to some type of technology that allows us to easily move between one world and the other. As a result, many employees find that their work life and personal life are becoming one and the same.
Based on what you have learned this semester, state whether you believe this perceived change in work/life balance is a good thing or a bad thing from both the employee's viewpoint and that of the organization. In your response, also explain the impact such a change might have on employee compensation systems.
