Assignment:

The Netherlands has the world's lowest rates of teenage pregnancy, birth, and abortion. They have one of the more progressive/comprehensive human sexuality curriculum for 13 - 18 year olds. While we can't say that comprehensive programs are directly responsible for these lower rates, we do know that sexuality education programs in the Netherlands focus on responsibility, respect, and pleasure and don't shy away from the tough questions. I find this approach refreshing and hope that one day the United States will do something similar.
