Question
The environmental law I will be discussing is the clean air act (CAA). It was designed to reduce and control air pollution nationwide. It was one of the United States first national environmental laws that was introduced in 1963. Some consequences for violating it result in tickets and fines. This could be from emission laws from a modified car or not having the right clearance or permits to maintain a specific emission level with something. It is effective because it can help save the quality of air we breathe also, it helps with visibility impairment when levels are kept low. This is only effective if everyone were to follow the same guidelines but even if industrial factories, 18 wheelers, and gas stations all emit sources of bad air pollution. It is not effective in certain locations where the emissions are not enforced. It can be more effective by emission laws being enforced such as California not to long go reinforced their CARB laws to where you cannot even have not catalytic converter on your car or you will be fined.
