You are caring for a patient with a history of DVT and PE with her last pregnancy. Her OB started her Lovenox. This patient stated during her 34 weeks prenatal check discusses with her OB about pain management. She states that she would like an epidural. Are there any contraindications for this patient to have an epidural since she has been on Lovenox? Please provide a rationale for your answer.
