1. From the perspective of you as the leader you are to create a 1 to 1½ minute video and submit it in MP4 version to MSTeams. Your video is to communicate a compelling message to mobilize people. The general broad theme is:
To continue building Sheik Zayed's vision of a better world for everyone, we, leaders must understand and embrace the UN's sustainability goals as best practices. (as per UN Sustainability 2030).

2. Draw on the ideas from class, the videos e.g.Pease, Cuddy etc., the articles, speech evaluation slide, notes, text book etc. to craft your message.

3. Consider both the spoken message, visual message, verbal and non-verbal.

4. I include below the charismatic speech guide from the notes as a start point. Think Three elements of great communication:, According to Aristotle. Consider the ideas in Lighting the Fire: Crafting & delivering inspiring messages (on MSTeams and BB). Use other sources to help you craft your message.

5. Make your video, save it in MP4 version and submit via MSTeams.

6. Complete a 10 page(maximum) report (plus cover page and reference list) summarizes your video (your vision) and deconstructs the techniques used to achieve your vision.
a. Introduce your project - what is it? What is its purpose? Who is your target audience?
b. Make sure you have a section that presents leadership / ideas relevant to your video. Include ‘why' the model/theory is relevant. (Stay focused - go deep)
c. Make sure you have a section that discusses the importance of sustainability to organizations going into the future. Ground yur ideas in the UN sustainability charter.
d. Deconstruct in depth methods, techniques you use (provide evidence ie examples) to create your message.
i. Provide explanations of your techniques and why you use them
ii. You need research to create a compelling message. I have provided a few articles. You will need more research. YouTube, HBR etc.)
e. Summary and conclusion
i. Bring the pieces together ie leadership x communication'
ii. What did you learn re this relationship?
iii. Conclusion to take us back to start

7. Submit your report via BlackBoard (safe assign) in MSWord format.
