Our textbook discusses the fraud triangle, and the three factors that must exist for a person to commit financial fraud: opportunity, pressure, and rationalization. These three components also fit well when it comes to academic dishonesty, otherwise known as cheating, which is also a type of fraud. Using an article you find in the KU library discussing the fraud triangle, analyze how each area of the fraud triangle plays into a student's decision to commit academic dishonesty.
