After reviewing the timeline depicting systems change for older Americans, discuss the historical events and strategies that were most significant in bringing about change. Why were those change-based efforts successful? Then, using the Capella library, find at least one additional article that reviews and discusses systems changes for a specific population. You can focus on older adults or the population you have been focusing on all quarter (children, families, homeless, Veterans, young adults, and so on).

Describe the article and the role of research in bringing about these changes. How was this research used in shaping the new system? How has the research helped to maintain the status quo? Identify one strategy from that article that you may be able to use in thinking about your change-based effort. Discuss why you would want to use that strategy.
