Since the beginning of the pandemic a number of concepts put forth in your textbook seem out-of-date or inaccurate. For example, the textbook discusses human increase in life expectancy, but the last several years have shown decreases in life expectancy. In addition, previously there was a major concern that with compression of morbidity and insufficient retirement funds, the workforce would be adversely affected by the elderly working longer. In your OPINION, not something you google, how do you see society's workforce being helped AND/OR harmed by the availability of 'retirement age' workers. OR do you envision the elderly being less likely to be out and about with concerns about COVID variants?
