Her current treatment plan includes acetaminophen 3 g/day, however Ms. Kindred inquiries about adding chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine to her regimen. What advice may be provided to Ms. Kindred? Continue current regimen and add Chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine, alone or in combination Continue current regimen and avoid the use of Chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine, alone or in combination, because they are no better than a placebo in reducing pain in patients with knee or hip osteoarthritis. Continue current regimen, add glucosamine and avoid Chondroitin sulfate which is no better than a placebo in reducing pain in patients with knee or hip osteoarthritis. Discontinue current regimen and start Chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine, alone or in combination.
