Question: Discuss your thoughts on your classmate's evaluation of their leader or manager. My previous bank manager focused mainly on managing the bank's day-to-day activities. He took care of things like ensuring all the banking tasks were correctly done and on time, handling customer services, and ensuring the bank followed all the rules. He also managed the staff by organizing their schedules, giving them tasks, and ensuring they were doing their jobs well. He was more of a manager versus a leader. His approach was things are to be done, so let's get it done. He wasn't the one to influence and motivate his employees, but employees are expected to be self-driven and motivated to get the job done.
