- What events/situations/examples have transpired that make you believe your theory accurately describes crime causation?
- What events are currently happening/have recently happened that make you subscribe to your chosen theory/theories?
4. (Evolution): What theoretical shifts has your theory/theories undergone?
- Is the theory the same today as it was when it was first introduced?
5. (Critique): Critique your chosen theory/theories
- Are there instances where your theory/theories might not explain a certain crime, or a certain criminal? What are the limitations of the theory/theories?
- Under what circumstances might your theory not apply?
6. (Implication): Describe the policy implications surrounding the theory.
- What programs/policies/laws have been developed because of theoretical ideals?
- Are these policy implications effective?
7. (Conclusion): Conclude your thoughts about your chosen theory.
