Question: Harold was busy preparing for a meeting and could not remember where he had put his keys down in his office; during the meeting, he stated that a client had given an important piece of information, but it was actually his secretary who gave him the information.

A) Discuss which two sins of memory are depicted in this scenario and why they occur. Additionally, suggest how Harold might experience any one of the following sins of memory during the meeting: suggestibility/misinformation effect, blocking or self-consistency bias.

B) After the meeting, Harold was having lunch at a restaurant and was annoyed by a particular song that was playing. That evening , he could not remember what song it was when he was complaining about the experience to a friends, shorty after, the same song started playing on the radio. Harold exclaimed, "there ! That's the song: why could I remember it before

Explain why Harold could not remember the song but was able to identify the song when it started playing.
