Case: Using a free authentic hardware performance benchmarking and testing software (Example: PassMark) for comparing CPUs and GPUs, compare these three computer systems: i. Master Gaming PC - Intel i7 11700F, 16GB DDR4 3000MHz, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB ii. OMEN 16 Gaming Laptop - Intel i9-12900H, 32GB DDR5-4800 MHz, 2TB Pcle Gen4 NVMe TLC M.2 SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB iii. Acer ORION 3000 - Intel® CoreTM i7-11700F,16GB DDR4 SDRAM 3200MHz, 512GBSSD, 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti 24GB
Question 1: using the selected benchmarking software, report the benchmark ratings for the CPU and GPU in each of the three systems (Example: If Passmark is chosen, PassMark CPU score for CPUs and Passmark G3D Score for GPUs)
Question 2: Using the CPU and GPU ratings that you obtained for each of those systems, compute the relative performance (or "speedup)" for each of the three possible pairings of the three CPUs. Repeat the computations for the three possible pairings of the GPUs.
Question 3: Rank each of the system in a 10-point scale from 1 [worst] to 10 [best] considering followings: CPU performance, GPU performance, hard drive (quantity and speed), memory (quantity and speed) and price.
Question 4: Discuss which machine that you will buy if you have saved $4000 to buy a machine.
