Task: Pretend that you work for the "Student Success" department at Albizu University. Your department is primarily responsible for helping first year college students adjust to academic life and be successful in their courses. Your department has been asked to communicate with new students five tips for being a successful college student.
Please answer the questions/prompts below to demonstrate your ability to apply the transactional communication process model. Use the resources in the module and the PowerPoint discussed on Week 5 to support your answers
Question 1. Explain the importance of analyzing your audience prior to preparing, in this case, a presentation and conduct an audience analysis.
Question 2. Discuss which channels of communication might work best in relaying your message to the audience.
Question 3. Describe two possible barriers that could interfere with the audience receiving or decoding the message as intended and provide an example of audience feedback.
