Go through the requirements and see if you fulfill those requirements or if there is anything you are lacking right now. Then you must answer these questions:

A. Discuss whether the requirements would encourage or discourage you from pursuing a career in policing and why. In answering this question, you must include the following:

B. Based on the requirements, what are your strengths (that is - what qualifications/attributes/competencies do you have), and what are your weaknesses or deficiencies (what are you missing and what do you think need to work on to become a competitive applicant)

C. Based on your responses to part one, do you think you could potentially make a strong applicant? That is, do you think policing is something you might be right for? Explain why or why not. This requires you to be self-reflective and self-critical.

D. Do you believe the requirements need to be modified at all? If so, what changes would you suggest? Is there anything you would add? Is there anything you should subtract or modify? Again, be thoughtful and think critically here.
