Question: Feedback loops, both positive and negative, are your body's mechanism for maintaining homeostasis. For example, maintaining your internal body temperature requires feedback loops that involve your nervous system, circulatory system, skeletomuscular system and even integumentary system.

Pick an element of your body that is maintained by homeostasis, and describe the feedback loops that maintain it. Be sure to discuss what the control center (integrator), receptor and effectors are for the loops.

Then think about, or research online, what diseases or syndromes may upset that particular element of homeostasis and the corresponding loops.
