II. Discuss what is the premise of the theory, key concepts, and the contributors to the theory.
III. Must examine and provide evidence-based knowledge to support the use of the theory.
IV. How will this theory be useful in researching/examining your capstone topic (relevance of the theory to your topic)?
V. Must discuss the strengths and limitations of the theory.
VI. Include any other discussion, information, or analysis that may be relevant or necessary.
In the Social Policy section of your paper, you must select at least 1 social welfare policy relevant to the practice situation, which refer to State and Federal policies, laws (local or government-based), or acts. Make sure you cite the legislation/law/act correctly Must be 2-3 pages and 3-6 references. Here is what is expected:
I. Provide a rationale for your policy selection as it relates to your research topic.
II. Apply each policy you discussed to your capstone topic. For example, if you are examining domestic violence against women, you must look at legislation that results in laws, programs, and services.
III. Analyze in detail, providing evidence-based knowledge about the policy and its effectiveness.
IV. Although you are not expected to conduct a full policy analysis, you should draw on one of the policy analysis models that you are familiar with and reference the model fully.
V. Evaluate the strengths and limitations of current knowledge and the resources available with regard to the selected policy.
VI. Include any other discussion, information, or analysis that you think is relevant.
