Case: R. W. was diagnosed with acute bilateral bacterial pneumonia and placed on antibiotics and antipyretic medications. Both medications are given q6 hr (every six hours). It is anticipated that she should be discharged to home in 48 hours.

What will change in your nursing priorities as you prepare to send R. W. home? What education do you believe she will require to continue to recuperate from her illness? List at least two nursing interventions and one client education needed for this client for her to go home safely. As you work on your post, incorporate any feedback received last week from your instructor.

Using the care plan and nursing interventions you determined last week for R. W., for each nursing intervention:
