ASSIGNMENT:

Right now the U.S. has a serious problem with the drug fentanyl. Nearly 110,000 people died from drugs in 2022, many of those deaths were due to fentanyl (Mann, 2023). From the work I do, some people have indicated that they took a drug (from someone other than an medical doctor) that they thought was something else, like Xanax or Percocet only to find that it was fentanyl. This sometimes results in deadly consequences. As we consider victim precipitation, are the people who take those drugs completely innocent victims? What if they were under the age of 18 at the time?
