Problem
In August 2015, Then CEO Larry Page announced the creation of Alphabet, a parent company that would contain Google, and much more. Read Larry's letter and make a note of the 12 divisions of Alphabet.
Also, looking at the 2022 Annual Report for Alphabet. Read the section on "business" (pp. 5-7) and note how they make their money.
I. Based on what you read, why do you think Alphabet decided to move the "Google" portion of its business away from the other elements of their business? What was the business logic behind it?
