VIA Character Strengths

After reading about personality I did that VIA Character Strengths free survey.After answering 120 questions, I was surprised how the results came true.My five top strengths are:

1- Self-Regulation: is regulating what one feels and does; being disciplined; controlling one's appetites and emotions.

2- Gratitude: is being aware of and thankful for the good things that happen; taking time to express thanks.

3- Honesty: is speaking the truth without lies or even without changing in conversation. Also, means taking responsibility for one's feelings and actions.

4- Fairness: is being equal and fair with everyone/ everything, and the most important is not letting feelings bias decisions about others.

5- Teamwork: is working well as a member of a group or teamand try best you can to help them accomplish the task; being loyal to the group.

• Out of the top five strength, I believe all five strengths represent me. First, I see myself, I'm able to control my emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in various situations. In other words, I think before acting. In addition, I always cheer myself up after disappointments or when I face obstacles because the life is like a school and we have to value the lessons that we take. I always express my gratitude first to god, and second to my parents for the countless grace, support, love, and everything they give to me. I'm also thankful for this country and people who live in for help, respect, and sharing peace since day 1 I got here. I'm honest that I cannot lie, and I hate lying at all.
• I don't like to hurt someone with my honesty but, if I know I have to say the truth to solve a problem or conflict I will be honest even though it hurts. I'm truly fair when it comes to judge who is right and who is wrong, or when giving people tasks to do at work, I make sure I'mfair with everybody despite working with friends, cousins or anyone else is related to me. I love teamwork achievement, I would rather work with a group on project than working on by myself because there could be more interest for each one by sharing the idea, helping finish the task faster, and taking less responsibilities to finish the work.

• For "the best me" one strength is honesty. My honesty can hurt, but most of the time it does not hurt. I try to control my feelings and behaviors when it comes to say the truth. I feel my honesty helps me in so many situations because I have faith and I fear god. I always try and make sure to be honest first about my feelings, thoughts, and in daily life's attitude. That's one of my strengths and the closest one to my personality. Additionally, it is the reason why I am far of many people because there is many people need someone who lies, flatters, and be fake to them, but I'm really honest.
