LOCAL GOV AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATION

1. Lack of capability of local officials for governance, inability to sustain development programs, and lack of thorough knowledge on the mechanics of devolution both by local government administration. Given these issues, discuss some strategies, approaches, and or interventions that should be adopted to give solutions to these issues and make the local government unit more efficient and productive.

2. In your own perspective, what is your view on the role of local government,private sector, and civil society as the key players in local governance to further the development of the community and improve their services to the people.

3.Accountable, transparent, responsive, efficient and effective, participation,consensus-oriented, follows the rules of law are the characteristics of good governance.
