Discuss the value versus risks of pervasive iot devices

IoT devices are very pervasive these days - from Apple Watch-type devices measuring vital signs to Alexa-type devices listening for commands and Ring-style indoor and outdoor cameras constantly surveilling properties, there are legitimate use cases for this data collection, but there are also privacy and security concerns.

Pick a couple of devices (maybe some that you personally experience in your daily life) and research the use cases, and then discuss the value (for different stakeholders) versus risks of pervasive IoT devices?
